Epiphone's Dot Deluxe is extremely popular with fans of the ES-335 who are looking for a more affordable semi-acoustic guitar. This thinline archtop model has a beautiful flamed maple body, updated electronics, a LockTone tune-o-matic bridge and a stopbar tailpiece. The well-known, comfortable SlimTaper D neck is present and correct too.
Dot Deluxe: legendary Alnico V humbucker pickups
Thanks to the f-holes in the body and two humbuckers with legendary Alnico V magnets, this Epiphone has everything it needs to produce classic sounds straight out of the fifties. Tight bass, a mid-scoop and warmth are all part of its sound and it has punch and sparkle too. The pickup at the bridge provides a little more than the humbucker at the neck. A wide range of tones are at your fingertips thanks to the 3-way pickup switch and the volume and tone potentiometers.
