The Gretsch G6139TCB Falcon Center-Block Single Cutaway white is a new version of the renowned Falcon model. Featuring a 1.75-inch deep, 3-ply maple body with a 16-inch lower bout, remarkably large f-shaped sound holes and elegant gold-coloured details, this impressive instrument does not only look fabulous, but is also great to play.

Center Block

A particularly notable feature of this G6139TCB Falcon is its center block. Running along the length of its body, it provides the guitar with a number of interesting sonic characteristics. The center block is made of spruce, which adds a lively tone to the overall sound of the instrument, and is chambered at the lower bout to reduce the overall weight. Body-resonant feedback is reduced, enabling you to play with increased gain. Finally, the pinned wood base of the bridge extends over the sides of the center block, which benefits the transfer of string vibrations to the sound holes, resulting in a full-bodied tone.

The neck of the G6139TCB Falcon is made of 3-ply maple and its rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 22 medium jumbo frets. Two High Sensitive Filter'Tron pickups, located at bridge and neck, allow for three different configurations and each has its own volume knob.
