With the Professional Collection G6136T-62-LTD White Falcon, the ever-generous Gretsch release and reissue a sublimely spectacular limited-edition guitar for only the most avid of collectors. The hollow body of this iconic guitar is made entirely from laminated maple and comes mounted with two TV Jones Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity Filter'Tron pickups, while smaller yet no less important details including the gold sparkle binding and Grover Imperial tuners with Stairstep buttons effortlessly turn this semi-acoustic guitar into a legitimately breathtaking masterpiece that naturally comes complete with a deluxe hard case.
The G6136T-62-LTD Limited Edition '62 Falcon:
This White Falcon reborn has been styled with full historical authenticity and accuracy, as evidenced by the zero fret, Space Control bridge and Tone Switch with standby switch. But, the most interesting feature here is probably the Double Mute system designed by Jimmie Webster back in the day. It's essentially a mechanical solution that takes care of palm-mutes so you can maintain full wrist mobility while you play. The system is operated using the two red felt switches, and its inner workings can be accessed via a panel covered by a padded protective cover on the back of the guitar.
