This SA-BUB by Crafter buys you two guitars in one and is an acoustic guitar with both an acoustic and an electric pickup. This model from the Slim Arch Series features a semi hollow-body topped with beautifully arched bubinga. With a body as thin as that of an electric guitar, the SA-BUB is comfortable to play and suitable for home, live and stage use.

Crafter SA-BUB: Narrow Hybrid Construction

The SA-BUB's construction is similar to that of an electric guitar with the back and sides cut out of the same piece of solid wood. The inside, on the other hand, has been carved out to give the guitar its acoustic sound, which comes out of two special F-shaped holes that help amplify the sound. The mahogany neck has been fitted with a 21-fret rosewood fretboard for extra richness and warmth, while he beautiful bubinga grain combined with the graceful, white bindings and real mother-of-pearl inlays give this Crafter SA-BUB a modern and luxurious look.

LR-F Hybrid Preamp: The Best of Both Worlds

The SA-BUB has a traditional acoustic guitar bridge with an L.R. Baggs Piëzo pickup while the body is fitted with a 'lipstick' pickup by Kent Armstrong that gets you the sound of an electric guitar. Both pickups can be controlled via the LR-F Hybrid preamp featured on the side of the body. It includes a 3-band EQ and blend control that allows you to mix the Piëzo and Lipstick pickup signals, making the Crafter SA-BUB a highly versatile guitar ready to take on any and all styles of music.
