Besides the intricate art-deco detailing of the headstock and bridge, the first thing that hits you about the D'Angelico Premier Lexington is the mass of volume this electro-acoustic is capable of producing. The dreadnought-shaping of the resonant chamber is reinforced by special Scalloped X-Bracing, providing more space for the lower frequencies to fully resonate, while the higher frequencies are allowed to shimmer. The solid sitka spruce top of the body also supports this excellent balance and the laminated mahogany back and sides add necessary colour to the overtones. Plug the Premier Lexington into an acoustic amplifier or PA and enable the pure amplified sound of the D'Angelico-developed preamp, complete with tweakable EQ controls and a built-in LED tuner.
