The acoustic dreadnoughts produced by Ibanez back in the '70s are still as popular as ever. But if you want that warm, aged sound, but can't quite afford the antique price tag and prefer some modern build-quality, then wrap your hands around the AVD15PFRCE. This acoustic guitar offers a solid construction and a vintage vibe finish to deliver a tone that actually sounds decades old. This magic is achieved using a special thermo aging technique where the moisture content of the wood is brought up to the same level as a piece of wood more than 40 years its senior.

The AVD15PFRCE: Lived-In Acoustic Sound, Transparent Amplification

The solid spruce soundboard, internal bracing, fretboard, and bridge have all undergone the same ageing treatment to ensure that this instrument has all the tonal character of a long-lived, well played-in guitar. Giving it's true age away is the integrated Fishman Sonicore pickup. Sitting under the compensated bone bridge, this pickup delivers pure and transparent amplified sound, the low and high end of which can then be tweaked as needed. For good measure, a tuner has also been built in and a cutaway has been added for smooth access to the highest frets.
