With the Yamaha CPX500III Natural, you're taking home a reliable instrument. This natural electro-acoustic western guitar comes from the best-selling 500 series and has the beautiful, timbre-rich construction we're used to from Yamaha. The improved third generation of this medium-jumbo model features an improved pickup system, so the CPX500 delivers a more impressive stage performance than ever.
CPX500III: full, tight sound
The CPX500II is equipped with a medium-jumbo style body, which means that the body generates a full sound with impressive basses and trebles. The intonation is further accentuated thanks to the spruce top and the CPX sound hole - which features a lovely rosette - which help to provide focused mids and tighter bass tones for a remarkably strong, direct sound.
System 66 preamplifier
You can make excellent use of the System 66 preamp during your home recordings and during live performances. This preamp sends the signal that it receives from the piezo pickup (located under the bridge) to a mixer, acoustic guitar amplifier, or audio interface. You can adjust the timbre with the 3-band EQ, and an AMF switch is available for avoiding acoustic feedback. Finally, tuning this guitar is a breeze, thanks to the built-in tuner.
