This Kala Mini Orchestra Model acoustic guitar is only 92-cm long and is just three inches smaller than a regular Orchestra (Triple Oh) model. This makes it the perfect travel guitar that still has that oomph you're looking for. The solid spruce top with natural high-gloss finish gives the instrument its deep lows and crystal-clear highs. The rosewood back and sides add to the surprisingly rich sound of this small guitar. The neck is made of sturdy mahogany and features a rosewood fretboard with twenty frets.
Kala's history
Kala Brand Music Company was founded by Mike Upton in the USA in 2005 and produces hand-made ukuleles, U-basses and guitars in Petaluma, California. Just like they did with their ukulele basses in 2007, Kala has made a name for themselves with their signature Elite series, which has globally put the brand on the map. Kala invested a lot in creating instruments that have a distinct sound as well as comfortable playability. Since then, the company has been providing ukulele players all around the world with quality instruments at a great price.
