Granted, huge consoles like the FLX S48 can look a little intimidating. That said, Zero 88 have made sure the unit is by no means difficult to get to grips with. It's essentially a computer in the form a DMX console fitted with a 7" colour touch-screen and a DVI-D input for hooking up an extra external (touch-capacitive) display. In fact, the whole thing is aimed at minimising the time needed to program shows, so controlling and focussing up to 48 fixtures is just as easy as making colour adjustments via the HSV-compatible instant-access colour palettes.
