The high-end Fostex TH-900 headphones were designed with love and craftsmanship. Their driver, developed specially for these headphones, has a magnetic circuit with a strength of 1.5 tesla and a 50mm diaphragm. This produces a wide stereo image with transparent, detailed sound. The durable cable made from oxygen-free copper ensures the top-quality sound reaches your ears without any deterioration. As you would expect, the rest of the headphones are finished to perfection. The TH-900 headphones' housing
The housing is made from Japanese cherry and finished with a traditional Japanese lacquer called Urushi. Cherry wood is very rigid, with a dense texture that has optimal acoustic properties. The Urushi lacquering is done by hand, by craftsmen from a group that has existed for more than 100 years.
The 7N-OFC cable
The headphones come with a delightfully finished, 3-metre long, robust cable with a gold-plated jack plug. The cable itself is made of 7N oxygen-free copper, otherwise known as OFC. The Fostex TH-900 headphones come beautifully boxed with an included stand.
