Meinl ABGB-L bougarabou africano 12''
Descrizione
The brown ABGB-L African bougarabou is a percussion instrument that was made in the tradition of the Jola people, which live in Gambia, Guinea-Bissau and the south of Senegal. This goblet-shaped instrument is carved from a solid piece of mahogany and decorated with intricate carvings. But don't worry, as the wood comes from a special plantation, buying this product does not indirectly support illegal logging. You play the bougarabou in the same way as you would a djembe or a conga and it produces a full, warm sound, making it a great addition to any percussion ensemble.
Playing comfort
The bougarabou's 12-inch drumhead is made of hand-selected cow skin, and is attached to the instrument using HTP nylon ropes. The instrument is 62 cm high and 38 cm wide, allowing you to place it between your legs for a comfortable playing position.
