Truss systems are used for many different purposes nowadays. It's not only a stable way to safely install equipment, but also features a neat industrial look. As such, trusses are great for decorative purposes - you can, for instance, create vertical truss totems for mobile setups and place a moving head on top of it. Construction of the DT-BPS 650

Because the DT-BPS 650 is fitted with integrated half eggs, you can immediately mount your truss on the plate, stick the pins and clips in, and you're good to go! As these eggs have been countersunk, the baseplate is placed flat on the floor and won't wobble. With a thickness of around 1.5 cm and an exact weight of 37.5 kg, you're guaranteed a rock solid, reliable baseplate.
