On the strength of its insanely broad audio projection alone, the passive two-way Mackie DRM12A-P speaker is built to complete large line array rigs used for big performances. While it can be suspended, the fitted pole-mount can be used to install a distance rod for a classic subwoofer-and-top setup while the heavy-duty coated ply housing as well as the power capacity prepare this speaker for pretty much any situation.
The Mackie DRM12A-P: Features
Loaded with a 12" woofer and 1.4" driver, the DRM12A-P offers more than enough potency. Integrated rigging points can be combined with an FB100 flybar (sold separately) for the perfect suspended installation and, if it's hooked up to a matching amp or a processor like the Mackie SP260, the crossover-frequencies can be set per speaker and the EQ can be tweaked as needed.
