The Fender Concert Tone FM63SE is available in a classic, vintage sunburst edition. The blue/green mother-of-pearl and abalone inlay in the rosewood fretboard, combined with a bone string nut, ensure nothing takes away from this instrument's warmth and intonation. The 63SE also features chromed hardware and aged white body binding. Thanks to these gorgeous characteristics, this instrument looks much more expensive than it really is, which is impressive considering hardly any costs were spared.

Concert Tone FM63SE: not just a pretty face

This FM series Fender Mandolin features an arched, solid spruce top, and its asymmetrical tone bars have been completely re-vamped. A richer, more complex tone and an improved sound projection are the results of this upgrade. The solid spruce sides and back are another part of Fender's upgrade, which has resulted in a tighter sound with more definition in the higher frequency range. A single-piece V-shaped maple neck with the so-called 'Concert Tone' head is a characteristic feature of the FM series. Its acoustic resonance is enhanced by the piezo bridge, which is adjustable in height.
