Descrizione
Every microphone has its strong suits: one is meant for recording a choir and another is better suited to speech. The AKG C4500 BC is specifically designed for on-air broadcasting. The capsule is mounted at the front of the microphone, has a cardioid pickup pattern and is attuned to vocals. It isn't bothered by the proximity effect and is insensitive to interference from radio signals. A must for internet, radio and production companies.
C4500 BC: more than just a broadcast microphone
Besides broadcasting applications, the microphone is also well suited for recording vocals and instruments. It has a very low self-noise (8 dB-A) and can handle a sound pressure of up to 165 dB. This makes the AKG C4500 BC ideal for close-miking of loud instruments like bass drums, brass wind instruments and guitar amplifiers. The microphone is delivered with a windscreen and H85 shockmount.
