The AKG WMS4500-D7 is an analogue wireless microphone set of top quality. This set can control up to 70 channels when various frequency bands are used. HT4500 with D7 head
This D7 dynamic microphone head by AKG has the subtle and open sound of a condenser capsule, combined with the powerful resonance of a dynamic microphone. The specifically designed double diaphragms can vibrate freely, which results in a very sparkly, clear sound. Thanks to the use of laminated materials, peaks in the frequency range are dampened. In combination with the super-cardioid pickup pattern, this allows the D7 to generate a lot of output power without suffering from feedback. This makes it well suited for loud and demanding vocals. The D7 head has a built-in steel dust filter that protects the diaphragm, so that you will be able to enjoy your microphone for years to come. This microphone head is compatible with the HT4500 handheld transmitter by AKG.
The SR4500 receiver
This analogue wireless receiver uses true diversity which means that it constantly checks which of the two internal antennas provides the best signal and switches accordingly. This way, you are assured of a continuous signal without disturbances, at all times. The automatic setup function that searches the available frequency area for free, steady frequencies, makes things easy for you. The colour display can be adjusted so that it provides all the information that you need. The SR4500 has a built-in data interface, so that it can be controlled remotely via your computer and even via your iPhone, iPad and iPod or Soundcraft Vi mixers.
