The Shure QLXD24E/K8B wireless handheld system doesn't just set you up with a wireless KSM8 transmitter and QLXD4 receiver, but assures you of high-quality digital audio and optimum frequency range coverage. The KSM8 capsule transforms the QLXD2/K8B handheld into a dynamic vocal microphone loaded with a cardioid pickup pattern and a dual diaphragm, guaranteeing the accurate amplification and insensitivity to ambient noise needed for flawless vocals.

The Shure QLXD2 Handheld Transmitter

The QLXD2 transmitter offers a broad dynamic range, a flat frequency response, and roughly 9 hours of running time on a set of two AA batteries (included), or 10 hours using a purpose-made Shure Lithium-ion battery (not included). It's also equipped with a backlit LCD display so you can check the selected group/channel, the frequency or the remaining battery life. If there's a clear line of sight, the transmitter can cover distances up to 100 metres.

Shure QLXD4 Digital Wireless Receiver

The QLXD4 wireless receiver comes loaded with various pro-grade functions that turn the QLXD24/K8-set into a surprisingly fuss-free system. The Automatic Channel Scan function is quick at finding optimal frequencies, while the Networked Channel Scan function assigns any available frequencies to all receivers at the push of a button. Highly efficient in terms of frequency spectrum coverage, the receiver supports up to 22 systems per 8 MHz channel and fully secures its wireless connection via 256-bit AES encryption. Lastly, it's worth noting that the QLXD4 can be controlled using a PC, Mac, or a mobile iOS device in combination with the ShurePlus Channels app.
