The Shure GLX-D2 is a reliable handheld transmitter microphone, and in this case it comes with a Beta 87A capsule. The GLX-D2's reliability is mainly due to its LINKFREQ system, which automatically finds the best frequency in the 2.4 GHz band and syncs the transmitter and receiver constantly to ensure a clean signal, even when there’s sudden interference. The signal transfers are completely digital to ensure excellent audio quality.

Forget about the noise and static of conventional handheld microphones; the pure quality of the Beta 87A microphone capsule is transferred perfectly. This vocal condenser microphone has a frequency range of up to 20 kHz, allowing it to pick up all the subtle details of a singer's voice. Its super-cardioid pickup pattern has a highly directional angle so that there's little chance for peripheral noise to mess up your recording. Together with the Beta 87A, the GLX-D2 forms a professional means of clearly and wirelessly amplifying vocals.
Super-swift charging thanks to a Li-Ion battery.
The Shure GLX-D2 transmitter is equipped with a powerful lithium-ion battery, so that you don't have to replace AA batteries before every gig. One battery charge will allow you to perform for 16 hours on end. Should the battery run empty, it'll take only fifteen minutes to recharge for a 1.5-hour performance. Charging is easy: connect a USB cable to the microphone, or place the mic inside the receiver from the GLX series.
