As well as a pair of microphones, the Soyuz Launcher Deluxe two channel booster is able to kick the output of instruments of line-level signals up by a good 26 decibels, coating the sound in character and giving it some punch on the way. The Launcher Deluxe is a unique twist on the concept of a microphone booster, can run passively or, as soon as you flip the phantom power on, can be deployed to treat dynamic and ribbon microphones to the added depth and extra impact of a set of internal transformers, which deliver anything but a clean and transparent boost. This solid tool box can even be used to colour-up the sound of condenser microphones: simply activate Saturate mode to apply the same transformer-based saturation.
