Fireworks can be dangerous, especially when they're used indoors, which is why you normally need a licence and a reliable pyrotechnician. If you want a safer and easier alternative, however, take a look the Sparxtar by Magic FX. It's a firework fountain that works with a special powder giving you fireworks without fire so you won't need a pyrotechnician or a licence either. The special powder is heated inside the unit until it blasts out cold and impressive sparks that will blow your mind!

Power, operation and app

The special powder required is available to buy separately and each pack produces about five minutes worth of sparks. The Sparxtar holds two packs at a time giving you up to ten minutes of sparks before needing refilled. This should be more than enough time to add plenty of sparkle to any production, gig or show. The Sparxtar can be operated via RDM or 5-pin DMX. You can even make use of an app for iOS and Android that uses augmented reality to see how the Sparxtar will look in the space you want to use it in!
