When you're setting up a new studio or recording room, it's not just the right equipment that's important. To get the room sounding as good as it possibly can, you're going to need acoustic treatment as well. Fortunately, Clearsonic offer the SP40 StudioPac: 60 sound-absorbing panels and bass traps that can be fitted to walls and ceilings. This acoustic panel pack covers roughly 28m² and to find out what you need, you can take a look at the model numbers. Let's take the S2224 for example. The first two numbers indicate the width in inches, meaning this panel is 22 inches wide (or 55 cm). The last two numbers indicate the height which, in this case, measures 24 inches (or 60 cm). It's also worth knowing that all panels in the SP40 StudioPac are fire-retardant and made of fibreglass.
