The Remo PR-1320-00 20 inch Powerstroke Pro: Pressure Dampening Profile

The clear, uncoated finish of this drumhead has an immediate affect on the sound. The crisp attack is packed up by great resonant control, and since this is a Powerstroke Pro head, it features an exclusive Pressure Dampening Profile, where an extra Mylar ring has been spot-welded to the edge of the head. This ring is separated from the head by acoustic foam, which is what results in clean and refined sound. Basically, with a Powerstroke Pro kick drum head, you gain controlled sound without needing to stuff the shell with with blankets or sleeping bags.
