As many bass players know, traditional jazz-style single-coil pickups are a sure source of annoying hum at several volume levels of the neck and bridge pickup. There are also hum-cancelling or noiseless single coils, but these leave you with a scrawny bass, raspy mid range and less dynamics than a hunk of cheese. Luckily, Aguilar solved this dilemma with their AG 4J-HC pickup set! Thanks to the split-coil design, you can have a jazz bass sound and use it for all playing styles too.

Aguilar's hum-cancelling bass guitar pickups utilise a split-coil design with two separate coils per pickup, allowing you to make any combination of the neck and bridge pickup without having to worry about the dreaded 50Hz hum and while perfectly retaining the naturally, organic tone of your bass guitar. You can now experience deep, resonant bass sounds of the neck pickup, or single out the bridge pickup for that coveted midrange cut, all without hum! This calibrated set of two pickups is a direct replacement part for four-string jazz-style bass guitars.
