The Rob Papen RP-Verb 2 is the successor to the popular RP-Verb and it's no surprise that this fresh version follows the same route. Several new and interesting functions have been added, including the 'reverser' that lets you spice up your mix a reverse reverb effect. Naturally, this effect can be extensively adjusted, controlled and combined with tons of different sounds, all the way from drums to vocals. Other functions definitely worth mentioning are the envelope follower, envelope, LFO, distortion and there's even a modulation matrix. Simply put, this is not just any basic reverb that comes free with a DAW and offers but a handful of parameters to play around with. The RP-Verb 2 is much more than that and offers you a creative tool that you can tweak, play and fiddle with until the end of time. If you don't consider yourself an audio tweaker per se, this Rob Papen plugin also includes more than enough entertaining presets.
