The RCF MZ 8060 is a versatile digital audio matrix interface designed with a powerful DSP platform. It features an 8 x 6 matrix divided into eight universal mic-line inputs and six outputs. The audio can be adjusted thanks to a large number of parameters such as equalizers, compressors, gates, limiters, delays, duckers, priorities and an auto-mixer. What's more, there's also an automatic volume function control that adjusts itself to the measured ambient noise level. The MZ 8060 has ten logic inputs (GPI) for receiving audio and six logic outputs for transmitting it. Two of these outputs can be operated by a relay.

With the help of a serial port, you can operate the MZ 8060 using an external system (such as Creston and AMX). You can also connect two MZ 8060s together for a matrix of sixteen inputs and twelve outputs. RCF have ensured that an RDNet module can be integrated in order to successfully drive this audio matrix via an RDNet control network. ON the front panel, there are various LED indicators so you an check the parameters at a glance. For more detailed monitoring, this interface comes complete with specialised PC control software.
