The Alesis Core 8 is a great tool for home recordings. The interface enables you to record, for instance, an entire drum kit in one go, as it offers a separate channel for each individual drum and cymbal. The Core 8 is an 8-channel audio interface with no fewer than 8 microphone inputs, which makes it ideal for multi-input recordings. Various outputs are also provided, ensuring an accurate signal at all times.

High-quality recordings with the Alesis Core 8

The Core 8 is equipped with eight high-grade preamps, so it's capable of handling eight microphones simultaneously. All eight preamps feature switchable phantom power and independent volume control. The interface delivers 24-bit analogue-to-digital conversions at a maximum sample rate of 96 kHz. Channels 7 and 8 are equipped with a switch that enables you to set the input impedance to either microphone or guitar level. Each of the eight inputs of the Core 8 features a combined connector that allows for both XLR and jack plugs. The audio interface offers both a monitor and a main output, the latter of which is also send to two headphone outputs with independent volume control.
