This is a plug&play LED tube system that can optionally be controlled via DMX. Each segment of every LED tube can be individually controlled, which means that with 10 LED tubes, you can operate a massive 480 channels! This set consists of ten LED tubes and the necessary 10C controller. These tubes are great as a decorative light effect in clubs, you can suspend them from a truss or use even more sets for a veritable dazzling ceiling that'll give the famous one in Rome a run for its money! You can go as berserk as you like.

Operating the LED Pixel Tube 360

The LED Pixel Tube 360 is very compact and light of weight thanks to its special semi-transparent housing. A small part is reserved for the electronics, but the rest of this fixture is fitted with several LED segments that spread their light all around - a unique feature, as most LED tubes are just see-through hoses with an LED strip taped inside, leaving one side unlighted. American DJ understand how cheap this looks and have made a device that sends out its RGB LED light in every direction equally, so the amazing colour chases you create can be seen by everyone.

Use of the system

This system is suited for both fixed and mobile installations, making it very versatile. As these tubes are so lightweight, you can use a simple steel cable (or two for instant security) to fly the tubes at different heights, allowing for creative-looking setups such as V or star-shaped ones, for instance. Several of these sets are easily combined thanks to the IEC power inputs and outputs but be aware that 480 DMX channels quickly fill up a DMX universe.
