dB Technologies has put together a number of attractive sets, including this DVX D10/S08 system, consisting of 2x DVX D10 HP and 2x DVA S08. The compact size of this set makes is suitable for many applications, and it is powerful enough to amplify a band or a mobile DJ. All of the speakers in this set are equipped with DSP units so the sound can be optimised to suit the environment. These speakers can also be used as part of a larger setup, and thanks to the slanted surfaces the satellite speakers can also double as monitors.

DB technologies DVX D10 HP: versatile speaker

With its 10-inch woofer, you wouldn't call this speaker large, but it still produces a nice, mature sound. Thanks to clever use of the DSP unit, it's theoretically possible to achieve a maximum sound pressure of 127 dB. Furthermore, without the subwoofer this speaker can be used as a monitor, and thanks to the rotating horn you can use it vertically or horizontally.

DVA S08 subwoofer

To make the set complete, two active subwoofers have been added. The DVA S08 subs are each equipped with a 12-inch woofer to provide a maximum sound pressure of 131 dB. They also feature crossovers for the set. Each sub is equipped with a stereo crossover to make a 2.1 setup possible. This crossover can be adjusted between 90 and 120 Hz, and the filtered signal is sent to the satellites. In order to avoid phase problems, it is also possible to rotate the phase. Indeed, the entire device is well protected by limiters.
