The Fender Custom Shop 1960 Journeyman Relic in Olympic White, is a reissued solid-body bass. Thanks to the Custom Shop's Relic treatment this Jazz Bass has the slightly worn look of a well cared for guitar that has been played for decades. You will feel right at home when playing the bass's narrow neck with a U profile. Both the body and neck have a thin Nitrocellulose lacquer that allows the wood to resonate perfectly. The hardware has been artificially aged to match the rest of the guitar but, of course, functions perfectly. With this Custom Shop Jazz bass you can travel back to a time when 'flower power' was just beginning and ultimate creativity was actively encouraged. It's amazing what this bass can do!

Fender 1960 Journeyman Relic Jaz Bass: versatile sound

The '60s look continues on this top-quality Jazz bass guitar with 20 vintage-style frets and clay dot position markers on a rosewood fretboard. A 7.25-inch neck radius and the '60s-style U profile on a traditionally thin neck combine to make this bass extremely comfortable to play. In order to get that familiar J-sound, Fender has fitted this electric bass guitar with two '60s Jazz Bass single-coils. The stacked concentric potentiometers give you maximum control and versatility. This allows you to adjust the tone and volume of each pickup accurately.
