The alder body, rosewood fingerboard, Custom Shop '60s Jazz Bass pickups, maple neck and 20 fret positions can only mean one thing: the Fender American Standard Jazz Bass. This is the version with a Mystic Red finish. It is hand-made in America to produce a wicked tone and refined playing feel. This instrument has been the definitive Jazz Bass for decades. It is a musical investment and it comes in a Fender case.

Guitars and bass guitars from the American Standard series

The professional American Standard series comprises the most recent US-built versions of Fender's four most famous guitars: Stratocaster, Telecaster, Precision Bass and Jazz Bass. They all feature a quality ash or alder body, an average-gauge C-profile maple neck and a relatively flat maple or rosewood fretboard, as well as a reliable, sustain-enhancing bridge and (often) Custom Shop pickups for the classic Fender sound.
