This American Standard Jazz Bass has a Mystic Blue finish. This renowned instrument was made in America and is equipped with Fender Custom Shop '60s Jazz Bass single-coil pickups, which provide a proper dose of output with lots of punch and a warm mid range. Its neck and fretboard are made of maple, which produces more punch than a rosewood fretboard. The hardware on this guitar is very durable and the powerful HMV bridge and Fender/Hipshot machine heads keep the tone tight and retain tuning. This instrument leaves little to wish for and is still the base for many stage setups.

The professional American Standard series comprises the most recent US-built versions of Fender's four most famous guitars: Stratocaster, Telecaster, Precision Bass and Jazz Bass. They all feature a quality ash or alder body, an average-gauge C-profile maple neck and a relatively flat maple or rosewood fretboard, as well as a reliable, sustain-enhancing bridge and (often) Custom Shop pickups for the classic Fender sound.
