The Jazz Bass is hand-built with love in America, and features five strings and a Mystic Blue finish. What's more, the fingerboard of this model is made of maple, providing a clear, punchy sound. Properly rugged Jazz Bass single-coils ensure a warm, full sound with the distinctive Jazz Bass characteristics. The fifth string means you can broaden your harmonic horizon.

Guitars and bass guitars from the American Standard series

The professional American Standard series comprises the most recent US-built versions of Fender's four most famous guitars: Stratocaster, Telecaster, Precision Bass and Jazz Bass. They all feature a quality ash or alder body, an average-gauge C-profile maple neck and a relatively flat maple or rosewood fretboard, as well as a reliable, sustain-enhancing bridge and (often) Custom Shop pickups for the classic Fender sound.
