The American Standard Precision Bass features a Custom Shop '60s Precision Bass split single-coil pickup for the trusted, highly versatile Precision sound: clear, powerful mids and proper, round basses. What's more, this modern version of the American Standard P-Bass is great to play on thanks to the medium jumbo frets and relatively flat fretboard. Its extra massive High Mass Vintage bridge looks familiar but ensures a fuller tone and lengthier sustain.

Guitars and bass guitars from the American Standard series

The professional American Standard series comprises the most recent, US-built versions of Fender's four most famous guitars: Stratocaster, Telecaster, Precision Bass and Jazz Bass. They all feature a quality ash or alder body, an average-gauge C-profile maple neck and a relatively flat maple or rosewood fretboard, as well as a reliable, sustain-enhancing bridge and (often) Custom Shop pickups for the classic Fender sound.
