The Fender Cabronita Telecaster is a Tele with a twist. It was modelled after the very rare La Cabronita Especial from Fender's Custom Shop. Only a handful of this model were made and it is very costly. This is why Fender offers the Cabronita Telecaster. An affordable Mexican version of the original, with the same distinctive hotrod style and looks. This Candy Apple Red edition sounds as fiery as it looks. Fender Cabronita Telecaster: components

The body of the Fender Cabronita Telecaster is made of alder, that is lightweight and produces a balanced tone with rich mids. The 22-fret one-piece maple neck provides sparkle and bite, and has a modern 9.5-inch fretboard radius that allows for low action without annoying buzzing and ambient noise. The Cabronita Telecaster has a Stratocaster-type bridge with six adjustable Fender American Vintage saddles. The steel of the saddles and the strings-through-body design provide extra punch and massive sustain.

A Tele with an attitude

The two Fideli'Tron humbuckers on this Fender Cabronita Tele produce a nice fat sound, without diminishing the characteristic Telecaster sparkle and bite. The bridge pickup produces a bright and fierce sound that cuts through any mix, ideal for a wide range of music styles from country to punk and even hard rock. Its neck pickup, however, sounds delightfully warm and is excellently suited for sultry jazz and crunchy blues. Flick the three-position pickup switch to the middle position and it combines the sounds of both pickups.
