Fender FR-55 metal resonator guitar Hawaii
Descrizione
The Fender FR-55 will take you away to a tropical island, Hawaii to be specific. This metal resonator guitar features a nickel-plated brass body with a beautiful etch of swaying palm trees, a traditional outrigger canoe and an erupting volcano. The sound it produces also brings that characteristic Hawaiian music to mind. It is clear, bright and perfect with a slide or bottleneck. For this reason, it'll also be approved of by blues and bluegrass guitarists.
Construction of the Fender FR-55 roundneck resonator
The fully metal body of the Fender FR-55 is equipped with a hand-spun Eastern European cone. On top of the cone, there's the ebony bridge with a hard maple top to provide the characteristic enhanced resonator sound. The mahogany neck has a round profile, like on a standard acoustic guitar, making this special instrument easy to play by virtually all guitarists. The fact that this is a Fender guitar is exemplified by the two beautiful F-style sound holes.
