Construction of the Fender FR-55 roundneck resonator

The fully metal body of the Fender FR-55 is equipped with a hand-spun Eastern European cone. On top of the cone, there's the ebony bridge with a hard maple top to provide the characteristic enhanced resonator sound. The mahogany neck has a round profile, like on a standard acoustic guitar, making this special instrument easy to play by virtually all guitarists.
