This 12-string Ibanez EW2012ASE-NT electro-acoustic western guitar produces a bright sound and thanks to its body made of figured ash, it has exceptional looks as well. Featuring a high-quality pickup and preamp, the EW2012ASE-NT delivers a powerful, natural, acoustic sound with a wide frequency range in the high, strong mids and a warm low. Ibanez EW2012ASE-NT: figured ash
The top, the back and the sides of this 12-string electro-acoustic guitar are made of figured ash, a wood type that features a beautiful pattern, turning this EW2012ASE-NT into a true eye-catcher among acoustic guitars. The neck of this guitar is made of mahogany and has a rosewood fretboard that provides rich trebles and deep bass tones. The bridge is made of rosewood as well and is equipped with Ibanez Advantage bridge pins. The EW2012ASE-NT comes with D'Addario EXP strings and is equipped with die-cast, chrome-plated tuners.
B-Band UST pickup
This Ibanez EW2012ASE-NT 12-string, electro-acoustic guitar has a B-Band UST pickup in combination with an Ibanez SRTc preamplifier. This preamp has a 3-band equalizer (bass, treble, mids), volume control, a phase switch and a digital tuner. The preamp is also fitted with an Anti-feedback Freq. function that allows you to create high and loud tones without any potential feedback creeping into the mix. With the Chorus function you can create that nice chorus sound with just one press of the button. Chorus is a kind of flutter that creates a wider sound and is similar to the flanger effect. Moreover, the EW2012ASE-NT can be easily connected to a PA setup as it's equipped with a balanced XLR output next to the standard jack output.
