With the SR1206 VNF Premium (Vintage Natural Flat), Ibanez managed to combine a huge tonal range with great looks and excellent construction. The beautiful top, with a natural, ovangkol finish really catches the eye. This top, together with the very stylish, gold-coloured hardware, is fitted to the mahogany body. The mahogany also provides a very decent, basic sound. The reinforced 5-piece neck is made of wenge and bubinga wood.
Six strings and a serious sound
The six strings really come into their own thanks to the electronic heart of the Ibanez SR1206VNF. You'll find two Nordstrand Big Single single-coil pickups that have a surprisingly impressive fat, powerful sound that still preserves the traditional single-coil clarity. The active 3-band tone control, including mid-frequency switch, provide you with effective control over the bass sound. In short, enough reasons to seriously consider this 6-string bass guitar.
