The Korg Pack PaAS-edition workstation comes with a PaAS speaker system, ensuring all the built-in sounds are reproduced in high quality. Combined, the advanced Pa3X 76 and the speaker module provide you with a budget-friendly but comprehensive way of handling any possible musical task. You can use the workstation's built-in 16-track recorder to record and play back parts, for instance, while an extensive MP3 player and recorder allows for additional audio options. Real-time transposing, removing vocals and automatic chord recognition are just a few of the practical functions of this Korg workstation.
Pa3X: an overview
This Korg keyboard flagship offers everything a demanding key player could wish for: 76 semi-weighted keys with aftertouch, over 1,100 sounds, 512 user presets, over 400 styles (which can be expanded, of course), digital draw bars, nine assignable sliders, and a clear, motorised TFT touch screen. Equipped with a Korg EDS sound engine with 120-voice polyphony, the Pa3X can easily handle complex, layered sounds and complete arrangements, while its DSP section offers up to 8 stereo effect blocks. There are 140 effects to choose from, including a vocoder, and vocal harmony (TC Helicon) is also part of the deal. The mastering effects are courtesy of Waves: with MaxxEQ, MaxxBass, MaxxTreble, MaxxStereo and MaxxVolume, quality is guaranteed! Additionally, numerous analogue and digital audio connectors and optional hardware expansions make the Pa3X 76 ideal for any application and studio setting.
PaAS speaker system
With this Pack PaAS edition, not only do you treat yourself to a top-quality workstation, you also get a PaAS monitor system - originally a luxury option. This flat, compact speaker module can effortlessly be attached to the Pa3X without any cables or complicated mounting materials. Korg's Easy Connect system takes care of it all, and an external power supply is not required. The PaAS monitor has a 3-channel design, comprised of a 40-watt subwoofer and two 20-watt speakers for the mids and trebles. Its aluminium bass reflex housing delivers a remarkably rich and dynamic sound that makes any composition sound fabulous, without the intervention of large, expensive monitor speakers or a heavy keyboard amplifier. In short, the Pa3X Pack PaAS is a dream set for any arranger.
