We present you the sophisticated black version of the Takamine P1M electro-acoustic western guitar. Of course, this version has the same quality characteristics as the natural version. For instance, like all guitars from the Pro Series 1, it features a compact, carefully-crafted body, fitted with a solid cedar top. This guarantees a strikingly rich and warm resonance, sparkly trebles and a long sustain.
Wood types and shape of the P1M Black
The body of this perfectly finished P1M is called the Orchestra model, and is slightly more compact and slightly curvier than that of a dreadnought guitar, resulting in a more direct and clearer sound. Additionally, the cedar top in combination with the rosewood fretboard provides the necessary warmth. Thanks to Takamine's special split bone saddle, you're guaranteed an impeccable intonation and a perfect sound transfer from the strings to the body.
The preamplifier
One important feature of the P1M is its CT4B II preamp. This highly popular preamp system makes sure that the sound of acoustic guitars gets amplified professionally. A 3-band equalizer allows you to adjust the sound that is sent to a mixer or audio interface, adapting it to your liking and to the acoustics of the room. You can further adjust and tune the instrument by means of the built-in tuner. Delivery of the P1M Black includes a case.
