De Vestax VDA-1000 is ontworpen voor DJ's die veel met de computer werken en hun apparatuur vaak moeten verplaatsen. De VDA-1000 is namelijk erg licht en efficiënt. Doordat de versterker weinig energie verbruikt, wordt hij niet zo warm als andere versterkers. Dit heeft als voordeel dat de VDA-1000 veel langer mee gaat. Bovendien is de VDA-1000 erg krachtig voor een mobiel systeem.
