The Yamaha FGX730SC BSB owes its full sound to a solid spruce top and rosewood sides and back. Internal non-scalloped X-bracing ensures a balanced tone with powerful bass, sweet mids and sparkling trebles. This electro-acoustic guitar's comfortable neck is made of nato (an Eastern wood type that resembles mahogany) and fitted with a 20-fret rosewood fretboard with cream-coloured bindings and elegant mother-of-pearl mini position markers. Built-in electronics

Yamaha's unique A.R.T. pickup system enables you to amplify the full acoustic sound of the FGX730SC in a natural way. To that end, two special contact pickups (Acoustic Resonance Transducers) have been mounted underneath the top near the bridge. Thanks to their innovative design, they produce a more dynamic sound than traditional piezo pickups, and cause less distortion when the sound level changes. The steel-string guitar's preamplifier features a 3-band equalizer with AMF (Adjustable Midrange Frequency) and an integrated digital chromatic tuner with a clear LED display.
