The sound of the Yamaha SC B2FS5 MB

Beacuse the shells of the Stage Custom Birch drum kits are made of 100% birch wood, you can count on a clear, balanced sound. If you play with a band, you'll notice that this drum set works great for cutting through the sound of the other instruments. Moreover, the wood is laminated 6-ply, which ensures excellent volume with plenty of control over the sound.

A rock drum set

The Yamaha SCB2FS5-MB is a Standard version, meaning it's equipped with a comparatively larger bass drum (22 inch) and floor tom (16 inch). These drums give the drum set a bigger sound, making it suited for genres that need that extra body, such as rock music. Besides the bass drum and the floor tom, the set also contains the robust FP-7210A kick drum pedal, a 14-inch snare, a 10-inch tom and a 12-inch tom.

The stands

Such a sound drum set of course needs a sturdy set of hardware. The Yamaha SCB2FS5MB comes with a snare and hi-hat stand as well as two cymbal stands from the strong, stable 700 series. The stands are equipped with large rubber anti-slip feet. Additionally, the toms are mounted with the clever YESS system which minimizes mount-to-shell contact to provide optimal resonance!
