Sony VPL-EX255: 3LCD Bright Era

Sony has equipped this XGA projector with a 3LCD Bright Era chip. This three-part LCD system produces excellent visuals with a native resolution of 1,024 by 768 pixels, aided by a 210W lamp. With a clarity of 3,300 ANSI lumens, the VPL-EX255 is quite capable of handling the average meeting room, entertainment venue, reception or classroom. The estimated life of the lamp is impressive - use the energy-efficient Low mode, and it will last up to 10,000 hours.

Connecting options

The Sony VPL-EX255 can be used with an endless variety of equipment, as it is equipped with all the necessary connectors. Two Mini D-Sub15 connectors are at your disposal, as well as an HDMI input, an S-Video input and both USB-A and USB-B connectors. You can even set up a simple audio and video connection via USB, ensuring you're ready to go in no time whatsoever. A LAN network output allows you to use and control the projector as part of a computer network, and you can connect a tablet or smartphone simultaneously. This means that, using the available Projector Remote iOS app, you're able to control the projector with your Apple device.
