Mad Professor gives us the Dual Blue Delay: a highly intuitive, space-saving delay pedal that's insanely simple to control and delivers rich, powerful, warm, and thick sound. This is the absolute ultimate in echo, all wrapped up in blue. The face is fitted with a clean and clear line up of controls divided over two rows of Level, Tone, Repeat, and Delay pots. Play with the top row to dial in the long delay time, and tweak the bottom row to shape the short delay. The short delay gives you a maximum delay time of 315ms and has a deliciously fat tone - made for that familiar slap-back effect. The long delay, meanwhile, provides a delay time of 810ms for the more contemporary response demanded of soaring leads and ambient soundscape building. In terms of tonal colour, both delays give you all the scope you would ever need, and you can switch between both delays or use them at the same time. Hold down the on/off switch for a second and access a lush 'multi-head' mode which rhythmically weaves layer upon layer of delay, and naturally, you get a tap tempo switch for the long delay.
