This 14 x 5.5-inch Tama PPS55-PTS snare drum is part of the Starclassic Performer Birch Bubinga series and produces a powerful sound with warm lows. That sound mostly stems from the combination of four plies of birch and three inner plies of the African wood type bubinga. The Tama Starclassic Performer PPS55-CHS snare drum features chrome shell hardware and comes with Evans drumheads and 20-strand snare wires.
