Descrizione
Drummers looking for new and innovative percussion instruments, look no further! The RAW series by Latin Percussion offers a wide range of unique instruments with possibilities and sound characteristics that will surely get your creative juices flowing. From that series, LP presents this Street Can, that may look like a floor tom, but is so much more!
Latin Percussion LP1614 RAW Street Can 14 x 16 inch
If we compare the sound of the Street Can to a standard floor tom, then the latter sounds undeniably tame. The tonal characteristic resembles the surdo, while these have a sound of their own as well. The Street Can is truly unique, and sounds as strong and powerful as it looks. It's made of a 1mm-thick steel barrel and provides tremendous resonance despite the fact that a resonant head isn't even necessary.
Latin Percussion manufactures the Street Can in three different sizes; this is the LP1614 which is 14 inches in diameter and 16 inches tall. Its extra long legs make it easy to play while standing up, especially handy for percussion groups, tribal drumming, and solos. Use Street Cans to either replace your floor toms, or play in combination with them!
