This 14 x 12-inch floor tom is part of Tama's Imperialstar series of drums. It's made of 100% poplar and produces a clear tone. Thanks to the Tama Precision Bearing Edges and the compact lugs, the shell can resonate freely. The IPF14A comes in a great-looking Candy Apple Mist finish.
Wrap
Tama took a good look at every little detail of their Imperialstar drums, and then decided what needed improvement. A great example is the fact that the wrap has been glued to the shells in its entirety, while other manufacturers only apply glue to a few spots. Gluing the entire wrap to the shell gives this floor tom its professional look, but more importantly, it contributes to a better shell resonance. This 14-inch floor tom in Candy Apple Mist can be yours for a very reasonable price!
