ESP Guitars & Kirk Hammett Drop the ESP LTD KH-V Bomb!
Metallica fans are getting everything they ever dreamed of this year. The new album 72 Seasons is on the edge of release; a massive world tour is about to kick off, and now, the mega-fresh ESP LTD Kirk Hammett Signature KH-V six-string has dropped to planet Earth like a sonic bomb from beyond.
The Long-Standing Collaboration of Two Metal Giants
Perhaps it's a crazy thought, but Kirk Hammett and ESP Guitars have been combining forces to build guitars for almost thirty-five years already. Metallica's lead guitarist is a die-hard fan of V-models, partly thanks to bands like KISS, ZZ Top and Michael Schenker from UFO, so between 1985 and 2020, he was often bound to his old Jackson Rhoads RR1T. That guitar has since been officially retired and affectionately replaced with the ESP USA V-II - the model that would form the starting point for his new signature model: the ESP LTD KH-V. The first wave is expected to arrive in June, so if you want to be one of the first to get your hands on one of these freshly sharpened axes, you'd better act fast.
