The Fender Meteora Player Plus has landed!
For a start, the Fender Meteora bears a radically fresh design. This extreme offset was available for a brief period back in 2019 as part of the Alternate Reality Series, and now it's not only back by popular demand, but has been given the full Player Plus Series treatment!
The Fender Player Plus Meteora HH: A Hyper-Modern Offset
The newest Player Plus Meteora retains the same solid alder body as the Alternate Reality Series offering but with a few significant changes. This edition has been supplied with a newly-developed set of Fender Fireball humbuckers complete with split-coil function, doubling the sonic range and doubling the fun. On top of that, a modern two-point tremolo bridge with block-saddles has been fitted alongside and high-grade set of deluxe locking tuners.
The Fender Player Plus Active Meteora Bass HH: Active or Passive
Since the guitar-shaped Meteora was such a devastating hit, why not apply the same concept to a four-string bass? Here, Fender have taken the same offset alder body and mounted it with a pair of exclusively voiced Fireball Bass pickups, a set of three-band tone controls, and a neat mini-switch that can be flipped to shift the Meteora Bass into active or passive mode as needed. And, as a generous bonus, every Player Plus Series model comes complete with a deluxe gig bag!
