For a start, JBL has completely overhauled the woofers, horns, and tweeter to push the acoustic performance through the proverbial roof, and since it is 2021, they've also added Bluetooth 5.0 support, so you can not only stream audio wirelessly, but tweak settings remotely using your smartphone and the new JBL app. The housing is now also multifunctional, so the speakers can be suspended, stand-mounted, or lain on their side to serve as floor monitors.
